Yummy enchiladas!

Connor is attempting to break away from his picky eating habits. If it were up to him he would live on yo baby, cereal bars, cheese and nilla wafers. However, he is really making the effort to branch out lately. Tonight he took a liking to our enchiladas! He was quite the mess by the time dinner was over, but he was thoroughly satisfied!

A beautiful day for the ZOO!

We had a rare day of sunshine so Connor and I took advantage of my day off the wonderful weather and met Holly, Skyler and Tommy at the zoo!! We had so much fun and most of the animals were out too. Unfortunetly Holly and I should have brushed up on our animal knowledge before as we called the giraffe a zebra and mixed up the goats and the sheep, oh well! If Connor flunks out of preschool he can blame me.

It's PAJAMA TIME!

Thanks to my awesome Nonnie and Pompa, I got these cool jammies and book for my birthday! After my bath I love to come and sit in my rocking chair with mommy or daddy and read my favorite book and drink my bottle of warm milk. Then it is off to dream land for me! My mommy and daddy sing this book to me instead of reading it. I think they sound pretty silly. Now my mommy found the silly song on a Philadelphia Chickens CD and we sing it all the time. It is so funny!

Tunnel O' Fun

Connor got this cool tunnel from our rock star nanny Stacy. Connor loves to climb all the way through to the end. At first he was a bit intimidated, but it didn't take much for him to explore! Added bonus, the tunnel really brings out the blue in his eyes! :)

I want to walk!!!!!

Connor wants to walk so badly, but he just doesn't have the courage to brave those first steps yet. He has watched other babies in his playgroup walk, his cousins walk before him, and when we were up visiting the Piacitelli's, watching Sam walk was the last straw! He spent the majority of the weekend pushing Sam's push toys around the house. The only problem was when he hit a wall or corner, he couldn't figure out how to turn the toy around, so he would scream out in frustration. After Dawn and I returned from getting our nails done, Don told me he had spent a good half hour following Connor around the house with the push toy so he could turn him everytime he would hit the wall. Finally I decided to take him outside so he could walk till his little heart was content. And that he did...

The adorable Piacitelli family!

We spent Superbowl weekend with our friends Steve and Dawn Piacitelli and their adorable little 16 month old son Sam! They live up in Renton Washington. We always have a blast hanging out with them. Lots of good food, good drinks and good kiddie watching. Steve and Dawn even had a special birthday treat for Connor. And the Steelers won, the weekend couldn't have been better.
